Fancy seeing Franz Ferdinand in High Def? The jocular Scottish popsters are among the many acts being groomed for the new series of cult US TV programme Saturday Night Live which kicks off on October 1st. The big news is that for the first time the series is being filmed in HD, which might mean its return to the UK screens somewhere in Sky’s HD package. Who knows?
Also lined up for the new series is the man who played Ricky Gervais in the US series of The Office, Steve Carell, and Darling Buds of May star, Catherine Zeta Jones. Not seen her on UK TV screens or a while. Anyone know why?
