MTV? Discovery? What other channels are in Sky's HD package?
Well, we know all about the Sky HD channels that are set to launch next year – the latest goss is that it will be spring rather than early summer - but we don’t as yet know which other broadcasters will be joining the package.
It is all pure speculation on our part, but Discovery seems like a cert as does a music channel, which has to be MTV. As for long shots, well Fox is rumoured be launching another HD channel in the US, which could mean a second Sky One HD channel over here. National Geographic is also a contender and we wouldn't bet against a news channel going high def either - CNN, or maybe even a version of BBC News 24. And maybe a US sports channel or two are eyeing up the European market. Oh, well we'll know soon enough.
