Poor old Robbie Williams, not only did he break his wrist during a football match prior to his big Berlin gig at the Velodrom last weekend, but the Robster’s fans all got to take a very detailed look at his injury. For the gig was screened all over Europe in High Definition on the Euro 1080 channel.
The live high-definition cinecast was also shown on October 9th on special large screens in venues around the continent and was recorded in 5.1 surround sound. It’ll almost certainly turn up on a Sky HD channel at some point in the future too.
