Philips' long promised Windows Media Center PC. the MCP9350i, is now apparently imminent and may even retail for less than £1000. The design is very living room - maybe they are using the frame from those old Philips V2000 VCRs - and the controls and the socketry are spot on. The HD performance is excellent too. At a recent exhibition I saw The HD footage on the PC's hard drive in the 1080i format outputted to an LCD screen and it looked superb. We'll have a test here soon.
