Toshiba unveils new LCDs
Tosh has come up with four new HD Ready LCD TVs to form the WLT66
series. You have four models to choose between in 32”, 37”, 42” and 47”, all are packed
in a sleek black chassis. These boast Tosh’s Active Vision LCD picture
processing to help steer you away from the competition. This promises picture
enhancement in 4 key areas: detail, colour, contrast and movement. We’ll have wait
to get our hands on one to see how well it works. The WLT66s have a decent set
of connections: on top of two HDMI inputs you’ve also got 2 x SCART and a Component
video input. The larger 47WLT66 and 42WLT66 models also boast screens compatible
the coveted 1080p resolution. There’s no indication of prices yet but these are
set to reach UK
shores in April.
