Be sure of your facts before investing in HD, consumers warned
The Midlands Express and Star has published an article warning consumers to be sure of their facts before buying into HD technology, lured only by the World Cup and a select handful of other programmes.
Broadcasters like Sky and the BBC are banking on the World Cup buzz to drive HD sales, though analysts are warning of a severe shortfall in hardware supplies.
According to Digital Spy, only about 100,000 HD-capable receivers will be installed across the whole of Europe by June.
Meanwhile, money-centric site The Motley Fool has published
an article entitled Save 50% on High Definition Television. Unfortunately, it's prudent advice is to wait a while before purchasing a new HDTV.
