Korean company Spectrum has announced its small-sized internal broadband antenna for picking up terrestrial (high-def) digital TV. It will pick up channels from 14 to 69, so will pick up any channels that use the UHF standard.
High-def operation is reliant on two things: firstly, that HD content is available through terrestrial means, and secondly that you have a HD TV tuner in your monitor or PC.
I presume that it works as a standard digital receiver in other situations.
Taeha Kim, CEO of the company said that the intenna is equipped with PIFA (Planar Inverted F Antenna) technology and broadband reception technology. He also added the HD-mini is suitable for places where there is high reception rate (sounds fair to me).
The company has been producing T-HDTV antenna for 2 years and was awarded from the Ministry of Information and Communication in the Republic of Korea for its indoor DTV-antenna (model:LP49) last December.
