TV One new video scalers
TV One are adding four video scalers to their range of audio-visual products.
The units feature many automatic features and have been designed to be 'hassle free'.
The range consists of two upscalers and two downscalers. Probably of most interest to those upgrading to HD are the upscalers.
The 1T-C2-200 and 1T-C2-250 upscale from standard video formats to computer resolutions up to 2048x2048 at any refresh rate, or HDTV signals up to 1080p. The units accept both PAL and NTSC video standards, with either composite or S-Video inputs. The 1T-C2-250 also features Genlock, Chromakey, Lumakey, and mixing, should you want to present your own weather forecast...
All models have an AutoSet function which automatically sizes the image to fit the screen, plus Variable Zoom (up to 10x) and Variable Shrink (down to 10%).
The units are controlled via the front-panel buttons, IR remote, or an RS-232 connection.
The 1T-C2-200 will retail for £505 and the 1T-C2-250 for £615. Available from July.
