Twentieth Century Fox demonstrates Blu-ray movie functions
Twentieth Century Fox showed off Blu-ray movie content earlier this month at a 'living-room environment' in a Manhattan hotel, complete with a 65-inch Panasonic 1080p plasma display.
Though they had to use various fudges and prototypes to get things working (an in-development Panasonic player screened a movie without any sound) it did give them a chance to show off some of the new interactive features that both Blu-ray and HD DVD will offer.
This included utilising the built-in flash memory of players to enable viewers to bookmark scenes on a disc and return to them later, even after the disc had been removed; the ability to launch information windows whilst the content plays, and using 'BD Live' which allows content on Blu-ray discs to be securely updated - to add new language tracks, for example. (Quite how this is implemented on a machine that only plays discs I'm not sure)
There was also tentative talk of a possible release of 24 in high-def (Blu-ray) format.

24 in hd on blu ray sounds awesome.
