This evening on BBC HD sees the repeat of an episode of Patrick Hamilton’s classic trilogy, “20,000 Streets Under The Sky”, entitled “The Plains of Cement”.
“20,000 Streets Under The Sky” is a story of unrequited love set in the 1930’s which revolves around The Midnight Bell pub.
The show features a talented young cast, including, Zoe Tapper, Bryan Dick and Sally Hawkins.
As to how this tale will be affected by high definition, we will just have to wait and see, although, taking a look at the styles and architecture of the1930s in HD could prove fairly interesting…maybe!
Catch it tonight at 9pm on BBC HD

According to the TeleWest TV Guide, BBCHD is showing Red Dust at 9pm. The guide is usually wrong though.
The BBC website also says that Red Dust was broadcast tonight but they actually broadcast 20,000 Streets which was very good. Do you know a reliable source for BBCHD schedules? Any idea when the next episode will be on?

Not sure when the next episode is on but i'll keep a look out and post it when i see it. The most reliable source that i've found is the Sky EPG which is unfortunate for anybody on telewest.
It seems as if this was repeated again a few days ago and this time I missed all of it, d'oh!
