Toshiba list forthcoming HD DVD titles
The Man Room has noticed that Toshiba have updated their promotional site (The Look and Sound of Perfect) with a list of forthcoming HD DVD titles.
No doubt a lot of those titles are going to be available only in the US (heck, we barely even have the HD DVD players yet) but at least the titles are starting to look better, given the criticism from some quarters that film studios were churning out the real stinkers in high-def to get rid of them and generate more revenue from the early adopters.
You can see the full list by following the list, but there's probably about 150 or so titles "coming soon". Titles include Lethal Weapon 2, Backdraft, 12 Monkeys, Spartacus, The Sopranos, American Pie, Austin Powers, Blade Runner, Braveheart, Coach Carter, The Dirty Harry Collection, Forrest Gump, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, The Green Mile, The Matrix, Twister, plus a number of movies currently on cinema release.
