TV will still dominate in 2010, thanks to high-def
Research by Deloitte says than in 2010 TV will still dominate our lives, thanks in part to the increaasing penetration of high-definition TV.
We'll be watching on ever-larger flat screen panels, and getting more on-demand and interactive content. However, our couch potato status may still overrule and keep the schedulers job ailve - the report says that the 'effort involved in choosing what to watch may well be too much for people, who will default to whatever happens to be on'.
So much for choice, huh? We're just a lazy lot who get home from work of an evening, and don't really care what's on.
Previous reports suggest that the age of the large screen TV will actually bring families closer together in shared viewing experiences.
