Reading a recent financial report on Amstrad (read them all the time, you know, so interesting...) the one interesting thing that struck me was that Amstrad are developing a HD PVR for BSkyB, but that it won't be ready until 2007, rather than later this year.
Thomson are the current manufacturers of the Sky HD box, so it will be interesting to see whether this is a major revision with new features and greater capacity than the current Sky HD offering. After all, it was their first UK box and they're not going to stop developing their service.
It will be interesting to see when Sky do upgrade their HD box and what new features might be in store. I suspect that capacity will be one major change - 160Gb is not much when you're recording HD shows.

I just heard that the History Channel is launching an HD channel this Autumn (isn't it Autumn already?).
Any news on this as I can't find anything anywhere
