UK HD programming: What's on this weekend Oct 13-15
Here's a look at some programmes you might want to catch up on in high definition this weekend:
Comedy
The usual BBC comedy suspects air tonight in HD, including The Green Green Grass at 8.30pm
Drama
Robin Hood continues on Saturday night at 7.05pm on BBC HD.
Documentaries
National Geographic HD is screening Megacities tonight at 6pm, looking at London as a 24-hour city. In Science of Star Wars on Discovery HD on Saturday at 10pm they'll be looking at what will it be like to drive a hovercraft to work.
Sports
Live rugby action tonight with the Guinness Rugby match between Worcester and Gloucester, 7.30pm on Sky Sports HD. Tomorrow see Reading vs Chelsea in the Premiership clash at the Madejski Stadium on Sky Box Office 1 HD. On Sunday you can watch Plymouth Argyle vs Derby County live at 1pm on Sky Sports HD, or Guinness Rugby with Wasps V Newcastle on Sky Sports HD 2 at 1.30pm. Then there's more Premiership action as Newcastle United take on Bolton Wanderers, 3.30pm on Sky Sports HD.
Music/Art
At 6.50pm tonight on Artsworld HD is Ballet Rocks: Dance With a Difference, a behind the scenes look at the making of this short cutting-edge dance film starring English National Ballet with costumes by Giles Deacon and music by Brit band Bloc Party.
Films
The Secret Policeman's Third Ball from 1987 screens tonight at 9pm on Artsworld HD, or if you prefer you can Meet the Fockers on Sky Movies 10 HD at 9pm. Tomorrow morning watch Star Wars Episode II - Attack of the Clones on Sky Movies 9 HD. Wimbledon is showing at 3pm, Sunday on Sky Movies 10 HD.
