LG Electronics have announced that their 100-inch LCD screen will go into production. It will cost at least £78,000 so it's not for the faint-hearted, but if you've got wall space and cash to spare, and love TV BIG, then it could be for you.
Naturally it's 1080p (would you expect less?), able to render 1.07 billion different hues, with 3000:1 contrast ratio, and 5ms response time, plus a 180 degree viewing angle.
Though LG have shown off their 102 inch plasma, as far as screens are concerned, LCD seems to be the way to go for pricing.
Personally, I'd be more inclined to purchase a HD projector which can show images at even greater, and variable, size and for less cash, but there are some who like a huge chunk of screen on one of their walls.
And whilst we're talking of size, don't forget the current commercial record holder, Panasonic's 103-inch plasma.
