One thing I'm expecting to see much more of this year is an increase in the number of devices utilising the (still to be ratified) 802.11n high-speed wireless specification.
One such manufacturer is Samsung, who have announced that their HP-T5894W 58 inch plasma 1080p HDTV will allow devices to connect wirelessly to it - up to 150Mbps speed over a 300 foot range.
It also features three HDMI 1.3 ports, and its wireless capability seems to be primarily for connection to an AV centre. However, if it could also receive HD signals wirelessly, you could presumably stream output from your laptop PC with 802.11n to the TV. Very nice.
Completely wireless home entertainment systems are still some way off, but it's good to see the possibilities emerging.
It won't be around in the US until September, priced at a cool $5,699.
