CES 2007: Viewsonic reveals first 1080p LCD TV offerings
![]()
Viewsonic has created their first high definition televisions capable of displaying full 1080p content.
The 46-inch N4661w and the 42-inch N4261w both feature the required 1920x1080 native resolution, plus at least one HDMI input (it wasn't clear how many of these were on the set - hopefully a minimum of two).
They feature an 8ms response time, PixelWorks processor to render the sharpest images possible, and a 10W SRS TruSurround XT sound system.
The 42-inch model has a 1500:1 contrast ratio, 450 nits of brightness, and 178 degree maximum viewing angle.
The 46-inch model has an 800:1 contrast ratio, 500 nits of brightness, and 176 degree maximum viewing angle.
They also come with the usual array of inputs.
