With colonists rescued from New Caprica and the dust having settled over its repercussions, the search for Earth continues. The relationship between the humans and Cylons takes another turn when three Cylon raiders jump right into the path of the colonial fleet.
An attack is launched but Starbuck holds fire when it’s revealed that a man called Daniel "Bulldog" Novacek (Carl Lumbly, aka Dixon from Alias), who was a pilot on Adama’s previous ship, the Valkyrie...
Bulldog is escorted onto the Galactica and says that he’s been a Cylon prisoner, captured in a mission with Adama a year before the Cylon invasion and seemingly abandoned by the admiral. Could his actions have actually aided the Cylon conquest of the 12 colonies?
Meanwhile, on the Basestar there are problems for Number Three (Lucy Lawless) who is experiencing disturbing dreams. Called “Hero”, this episode concentrates on a bit of character development, with a couple more episodes in a similar kind of holding pattern before there is significant progress in the quest for Earth (so stick with it!).
