As part of Sky and Sony's ongoing alliance, they've just signed Liverpool and England footballer Steven Gerrard to front a campaign that promotes high definition TV.
The campaign will run in around 700 electrical retailers across the UK, and encourage consumers to spend loads of cash on a new BRAVIA TV and Sky HD subscription.
Actually, all they need to do is to get a demo of the system. They'll then receive a gamecard that could get them training sessions with Gerrard, UEFA Champions League final tickets, or an HD camcorder.
Will this latest celebrity endorsement shift more big TVs out of stores and into homes? After all, a new TV is just a tad more expensive than a box of washing powder. Seems like Steven's the real winner here...

I see your point but all we have to do is go look at HD in a shop and we can win some great prizes. Seems like a winner to me!
True.
