Lionsgate to produce double-feature Blu-ray discs
Lionsgate Films has announced that it will be producing Blu-ray discs that contain two movies on a single disc.
It will begin on 24th April by offering Ultimate Avengers and Ultimate Avengers 2 on one 50GB disc, with a suggested US price of $40.
There will still be room for bonus features - in this case a trivia track and two special featurettes.
Presumably, this kind of option will save on production costs, and is probably good marketing for titles that don't have particularly strong bonus features.
