LCD may be whipping plasma in certain screen sizes, but plasma isn't dead, and Panasonic has announced new 1080p plasma TVs for 2007.
The nine new models offer a variety of functions, from full 1080p resolution down to 720p, and the inclusion of a Studio Reference Mode on the top end range, which provides the consumer with the exact colour reproduction as seen on the reference monitors used in film editing studios. The Pro Setting Mode allows the consumer to professionally calibrate the set.
