Things cool down a little after the previous episode, which ended in a supernova (always eye catching, that, especially in this show’s often stunning high definition). Called “Taking A Break from All Your Worries”, this 13th episode of season three concerns the fate of the disgraced Baltar (James Callis), now back on Galactica after his extended stay with the Cylons...
It’s easy for the robots to end it all, and there are fewer repercussions, as they are swiftly ‘downloaded’ (reborn effectively) into a new body. Things aren’t so simple for the human traitor Baltar but nevertheless, he’s considering suicide as he faces charges of treason. But because of this, maybe he isn’t a human after all?
This ship-bound instalment also shows what the crew like to get up to when they’re not shooting at ‘chrome jobs’ or outrunning Basestars. Yes, they fancy a quick pint, so Apollo (Jamie Bamber) helps set up Joe’s Bar, an on-board pub where everyone probably does really know your name.
