Currys, a leading UK electrical retailer, has announced that it is selling the Samsung BDP1000 for just £349.99, around £300 cheaper than any other UK retailer.
It's available online and in stores, strictly while stocks last and for a limited time only.
Mark Webb, communications manager for Currys comments: “We are committed to delivering fantastic products at low prices and at under £350 this is truly unbeatable value and offers a considerable saving to our customers.”
No word on exactly how long this offer will be around, but Currys are no doubt hoping to generate some buzz around high definition DVD.
Looking at their site today, the BDP1000 is their 9th most popular product, though there's no word on how that's measured and whether that's just online sales.
