Evesham, keen to sell TVs at low prices, has introduced a 26 inch LCD HDTV model in its Alqemi range.
The TV supports 720p and 1080i, has a typical contrast ratio of 700:1, brightness of 500cd/m2, resolution of 1366x768, displays up to 16.7m colours, has a 170 degree viewing angle, and an 8ms response rate.
There's just one HDMI input, plus dual Scart, S-VHS or composite, and YPbPr, plus VGA input. It seems to handle stereo audio only, with additional subwoofer output.
As is generally the case with Evesham's TVs, this is a fairly entry-level set with few extra features. Don't expect any fancy image processing here.
It has a £349 price tag.
