Engadget is reporting that Hitachi is to manufacture whopping 85 inch plasma screens, presumably as part of its renewed push for plasma TV market share.
They must be fairly confident that there are enough people worldwide who can afford the money and space for such monsters. It's not the largest plasma around, but I know I wouldn't have room for it in my home.
