LG intro 22-inch LCD hybrid monitor
LG has announced the availability of its M228WA 22-inch LCD computer display that can also be used as a compact high definition TV.
It has one HDMI input and the TV is supposed to handle 1080p signals even though it's unlikely to be able to display them. It comes with a built-in analogue tuner so it's ready to go as a TV. It also features a 6W stereo speaker system, the usual analogue inputs, and USB video support.
The panel features 3,000:1 contrast ratio, 300cd/m2 brightness, and a decent average response time of 5ms.
A 20-inch model will also be available. Pricing to be confirmed.
