Marantz VP-1151 HD projector gets an upgrade

Marantz has upgraded its VP-1151 high definition projector, launched last autumn. It now sports the latest HDMI 1.3, with 12-bit Deep Color, and it will cost the same as the first model - around £10,000.

In the US and Japan at least, the company are offering an upgrade for current users. For 5% of the original purchase price, owners can send their projector back for a hardware upgrade.
