Intel has revealed its latest chipsets that are ready to go with high definition capabilities. Its 3 Series chipset has been designed with high definition media in mind.
The G33 and G35 Express chipsets provide integrated graphics and support HDMI. They include Intel's Clear Video Technology. In addition, system builders will be able to support HD DVD and Blu-ray disc playback.
The P35 and G33 are available immediately, with the G35 and X38 coming within 90 days. They all support DDR2 memory with data transfer speeds of up to 800 MHz, or DDR3 up to 1,333 MHz.
