projectiondesign has announced its new "Action! M25" 1080p DLP projector, claiming it to be the world's smallest full high definition projector on the market.
It features full 1080p resolution, high-quality 10-bit video processing, and HDMI 1.3. It uses Texas Instruments' 0.95" 1080p DMD with BrilliantColor technology, and features a seven-segment, 5x colour wheel., and brightness of up to 1,000 lumens.
It also features projectiondesign's proprietary RealColor colour management technology which tracks greyscale throughout the dynamic range and results in better video colour reproduction. By uniquely characterizing and calibrating every projector as it leaves the production line, the company ensures every projector can reproduce true D65 video.
The projector measures 3.7 inches high by 9.2 inches deep by 10.8 inches wide.
Unfortunately, the projector isn't due to be shown until June 19th, at InfoComm 2007. Even their M25 product page is currently under construction, but we'll bring you more news as we get it.
