Our sister site, Tech Digest, has spotted that SIM2 has released its HT3000E 1080p high definition projector.
I had a demonstration of the Grand Cinema HT3000 at the BFI in November last year, and the pictures suggest that this is a very similar model. Perhaps the E stands for European, or Economy, or Enhanced.
Anyway, it retails at £3,000 less than the HT3000 did - coming in at a cool £9,999. It can render one billion colours, projecting up to 30ft, and has Texas Instruments' BrilliantColour technology.
