The SXRD (Silicon X-tal Reflective Display) TVs feature Sony's Motionflow 120Hz high frame rate.
Sony's new A3000 line features three models: the 50-inch KDS-50A3000, the 55-inch KDS-55A3000, and the 60-inch KDS-60A3000, all having cabinets around 20% thinner than last year's sets.
Sony's two XBR micro-display line has two new sets: the 60-inch KDS-Z60XBR5 and 70-inch KDS-Z70XBR5.
All sets are full 1080p, with x.v.Color technology and BRAVIA Theatre Mode, and are compatible with BRAVIA Internet Video Link. The A3000 models also feature upconversion of standard definition signals to 1080i, using the BRAVIA Engine EX full digital processing system. They also support both 1080/60p and 1080/24p.
The A3000 models will cost around £1,500, £1,600, and £1,700, respectively, and be available from August. The KDS-Z60XBR5 and KDS-Z70XBR5 will ship in the autumn for about £2,500 and £3,000 respectively.
