It turns out that details of Denon's DVD-HD8910, which claims to be the company's first Blu-ray player and includes an integrated HD receiver, are a remarkable fake.
Apparently, the news that's been doing the rounds on web technology sites is not a real product but the work of some prankster with a working knowledge of Photoshop.
The device claimed to feature high-definition video and audio with a 2 terabit hard drive, 7.1 surround sound and even a direct connection to Apple's I-Tunes – sounds too good to be true...and it is.
