Evesham Technology claims its new Zeio NX600-HD notebook 'knows no limits' when it comes to mobile HD technology. It's something of a surprise then that the device doesn't feature an integrated HD disc drive – but otherwise it can claim an impressive HD specification.
The notebook computer features supposedly unrivalled HD qualities including a 17in high resolution (1920x1200) screen using X bright technology to enhance HD gaming and film watching.
With NVIDIA's PureVideo HD technology, Evesham claim users can watch downloaded HD content delivered with unprecedented picture quality, smooth vide, accurate colour and precise image scaling. The NX600-HD also features Intel high-definition audio support with 2.1 speakers and gamers can unparalleled levels of graphics realism and film quality effects with full Microsoft DirectX10 support.
Elsewhere, the NX-600HD includes Intel Core Duo T7500 processing, advanced wireless LAN transmission for more reliable internet connection, and a 1.3 Megapixel integrated camera. There's also a built in media card reader, dual layer DVD-RW drive, 2GB DDR II RAM and a 120GB HDD.
The is priced around £1400 while you can upgrade to the NX650-HD, featuring Intel Core2 Duo processing and a 160GB HDD, for an extra £200
