HD DVD claim more disc titles than Blu-ray in Q2
Another day, and more statistics to prove that either HD DVD or Blu-ray is winning the format war.
The latest figures from The DVD Release Report suggest that more HD DVD titles were released in the second quarter of this year (April 1st - June 30th), with 70 titles compared to 63 Blu-ray titles. Universal released 33 of these.
VideoScan figures suggest that Blu-ray's overall sales lead is now stabilising, though they still outsell HD DVD by 2:1.
