High-definition is the super hero at this year's Comic-Con exhibition in California where visitors will be treated to several highly anticipated new HD film releases.
At least three next generation titles will be given their first airing at the US comic book convention being held later this month. The first is apparently a worldwide debut for the HD-DVD release of the original Star Trek series in the company of Star Trek creator, Rod Roddenbury – so expect plenty of 'Trekkies' wearing prosthetic ears and talking in Klingon.
Also showing is the high-definition release of Return to the House on Haunted Hill, which is due to out in both HD-DVD and Blu-ray. And the final showing is expected to include the first ever look at the Heroes: Season One HD-DVD release – joined by the entire cast and creator, Tim Kring.
