Following our announcement of 'the world's smallest Full HD projector', projectiondesign's unusually named M25, we have more details of its UK release.
The second-generation 1080p design features an impressive array of state-of-the-art technology and features to make the most of high-definition images using Blu-ray, HD-DVD, HDTV and even upscaled DVDs.
The design is as small as an A4 piece of paper – about one quarter the size of competing models. This makes it and easy to transport or mount virtually anywhere without being noticed. It also features a quality, durable construction and extremely quiet operation.
Despite its diminutive dimensions there's no compromises to the specification, which includes Full 1080p with 24p fps compatibility using Texas Instruments DMD Dark Chip3 chipset to produce true e-cinema image quality in a home environment. There's also 10-bit video processing, Real Colour Management, a 5000:1 contrast ratio and a full range of connectivity including the latest HDMI 1.3a digital output.
The projectiondesign M25 will be available from October with an expected price of £5,000, which the company claim can compete with models costing twice the price.
