Samsung has introduced two new plasma TVs with wireless (802.11n) connectivity that will allow users to stream video content wirelessly to the screen.
The 94 Series of plasmas will be the first to feature wireless technology, which should reduce some of the cable clutter that often confuses home entertainment systems.
As long as other components are Wi-Fi compatible, the TV can receive audio and video content from next generation Blu-ray and HD-DVD players. But, wireless quality only reaches 1080i so the TV's Full HD 1080p potential can't be realized without cables. And, we're not sure whether the TV can stream audio and video content from a PC or if it's able to connect to the Internet yet.
The 94 Series is available in 50in and 58in screen sizes with both models featuring 15,000:1 contrast ratios, three HDMI inputs and a USB port. The plasma TVs will go on sale in the US this month priced around $5300.
