Sharp will debut its latest G Series of LCD HDTVs at next month's IFA show in Berlin. The company claims the new screens include the world's slimmest large screen LCD.
We reported technical details of the G Series earlier this month but were not aware that the screen's dimensions had been cut to a wafer thin 81mm thick – that's 4mm slimmer than the current R Series models.
The new range features several sizes ranging between 26in - 52in and screens are also lighter than previous models, weighing in between four and nine kilograms less than current models, which should welcome wall hanging options.
