SIM2's Domino 10 'entry-level' projector
SIM2 rarely ventures into budget territory but the company’s latest Domino 10 HD projector features an attractive specification for an affordable price.
The model’s 1280x768 resolution is fully compatible with 720p high-definition content and will also display 1080p images – although they will be downscaled. It uses the latest 0.65in chipset from Texas Instruments and features Brilliant Colour Image technology for cutting edge colour reproduction.
Elsewhere, there is 10 bit video processing and a contrast ratio of 2000:1. Connectivity includes all the usual suspects with both HDMI and DVI digital video inputs as well as a D-Sub terminal for games and Internet applications.
The compact design is stylishly finished in matte-black and features a high-quality, short-throw lens that can project large size images from only a small distance – ideal for smaller rooms.
The Domino 10 is available now priced around £1600.
