Samsung has shown off its HT-BD2 home theatre solution, a 7.1 channel HD receiver speaker system supporting a range of audio formats, including Dolby TrueHD and dts-HD, and pumping out 1,100 watts of total power.
Its Blu-ray player seems to have much of the same functionality as the new BD-P2400 player. The seven channel setup includes a fully powered subwoofer, accentuated by four towers, a center channel, and two satellite rear speakers.
Design wise, it's done out in piano black finish with soft blue LED accents.
Available before Christmas, price to be confirmed.
