A couple of reports show that at least a couple of the latest crop of HD DVD and Blu-ray releases are pushing the feature set of those two formats.
PC World reports that Heroes: Season 1 on HD DVD has interactive features that make "early titles really look more like mere warm-ups for the real deal."
The massive seven disc set reportedly makes good use of on-disc and Web-enabled interactive capabilities.
Meanwhile, Sony BMG has released the first Blu-ray music title to support both uncompressed PCM 5.1 Surround Sound and Dolby TrueHD, namely "Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds: Live at Radio City".
So it seems that newer titles are actually making decent use of the disc formats' specifications.
