Panasonic has just received four EISA (European Imaging and Sound Association) awards, including the best HD ready plasma TV and HD camcorder.
The company’s TH-42PV70/PX70 VIERA models were judged by the EISA panel to be the best plasma HDTVs. “For movie enthusiasts, plasma displays are still the most cinematic performers. For the perfect illustration of this point, look no further than Panasonic’s TH-42PV70 plasma display. It delivers almost perfect picture quality and most impressive of all, however, is the highly affordable price.”
Other Panasonic award winners include the HD-SD1 high-definition camcorder, which the panel claim is, “one of the world’s smallest and most reliable High Definition camcorders and sound is equally impressive, whereas the joystick working as a soft key makes this camcorder very easy to operate.”
There were also awards for the DMR-EX87 DVD/HDD recorder and the DMC-TZ3 compact camera.
