Our female-friendly sister site, Shiny Shiny, has scooped an exclusive bit of news about new TV technology from Philips, due to be shown off at IFA 2007 in three weeks' time.
Building on the success of their Ambilight technology, Aurea will cause the frame of the TV to glow as well as from behind and around the set.
Scientists have already claimed that Ambilight TVs are better for your eyes, and Aurea should continue this trend, because there's less difference between the lighting on the screen and the surrounding area.
No more information than that at present.
