It may not be quite as generous as the free 46 inch HDTV for the UK's first PS3 customers, but if you're into The Matrix Trilogy and haven't got an HD DVD player yet (or even if you have, and fancy flogging it on eBay) then get yourself down to HMV in Oxford Street next Monday, 10th September, for a chance to get your hands on a free Toshiba HD-E1 HD DVD player.
Toshiba will no doubt want to be getting rid of old stock, now that the third generation HD DVD players are coming.
The first 150 people to buy The Complete Matrix Trilogy HD DVD box set will get their hands on the outdated HD DVD player.
As if that weren't exciting enough, the first 400 people will also get a "memorable goodie bag".
So, get your pop-up tent ready and head on over to Oxford Street.
