Retail stores' sales news isn't the most exciting news, granted, but DSG's latest results seem to prove the ongoing rise in popularity of high definition TVs in the UK.
Their 6% sales rise was driven by high definition TVs, flat panel TVs, and laptop PC sales (DSG is the parent company of both Curry's and PC World).
Granted, people will always be replacing or adding TVs to their home, and it's near impossible to buy anything that isn't flat panel and at least HD Ready.
