
Rock has unveiled two new laptops with HD DVD drives as standard, deciding to bite the bullet and settle on one high definition drive format.
The Pegasus 670 and Xtreme 770 (pictured) models both now feature the drives.
The Xtreme 770 is touted as the ultimate gaming and high performance notebook, featuring up to 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7700 processor, NVIDIA 8700M GT 512MB (DX 10) GDR3 High Performance Graphics, 17 inch widescreen, HD DVD / DVD dual writer, optional TV tuner, DVI and digital audio output. Prices start at £1399.
The Pegasus 670 has a similar feature set, but with a 15.4" widescreen and an HDMI output. Prices start at £999.
