The title pretty much says it all. Warner's forthcoming release of Terminator 3 on Blu-ray achieves its "Picture in Picture" commentary section by simply putting two versions of the film onto the disc, one with and one without the additional commentary.
The advantage, of course, is that this disc will play on any Blu-ray player — not just those which adhere to the latest Profile 1.1 specifications.
The potential downside is that additional disc space could have been used for better quality video and audio.
The disc will include additional "In Movie Experience" features.

This article also verifies that the hype about Blu-ray having larger storage area is just that hype.
If Blu-ray were superior to HD DVD than they would not have to copy HD DVD, eventually.
The principal things that counts in my opinion are; reliability, features, picture- and sound qualities.
To date, despite the hype, by Blu-ray, in my opinion HD DVD has been the superior format.
If Blu-ray has to place two versions of the same films onto a single disc, whilst HD DVD only has to place one version onto a single disc than Blu-ray requires twice as much storgae space than HD DVD. I am fully aware that it may not be exaclty twice as much, but I don't want to lose people in computer programming jargon. This and the written of the software is why I never thought that it was luck that Microsoft and Intel with access to excellent computer programming knowledge uses HD DVD instead of Blu-ray.
