Denon introduces AVR-3808 7.1 AV receiver

Denon has unveiled its latest 7.1 channel AV receiver, the AVR-3808, featuring 160 watts at 6Ω for all seven channels, Denon's discrete surround circuit, and proprietary Advanced AL245 Plus

It features HDMI 1.3a compatibility with four inputs, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD audio decoders, Deep Colour and xvYCC support, auto lip sync, analogue and video upscaling to 1080p.

It allows media to be streamed to the device over an Ethernet network, via USB, or an iPod. MP3 and AAC files can be restored with Denon's Compressed Audio Restorer technology.

The unit has three independent power transformers, nine independent power supply circuits, plus auto set-up and room EQ.

It can be used in multi-room/multi-zone set ups, comes with two remote controls (for main and sub zones), and features a new photo-real on screen Graphical User Interface, plus ability to set up the unit via its front panel.
