Onkyo may pull out of HD DVD hardware market

Possibly another blow for the beleaguered HD DVD camp with speculation that Onkyo may discontinue their HD DVD player line.

Their DV-HD806 was launched in the US last autumn, but apparently there are now no plans to bring it to the UK.

It's really looking as if Toshiba will be the only HD DVD manufacturer left, not including dual-format manufacturers such as LG and Samsung.
