Pioneer tops list of favourite TVs, as voted by Reevoo users
Users of the user product review site Reevoo have voted Pioneer's KURO 42-inch plasma TV as their favourite brand of telly for 2007.
Pioneer's state-of-the-art plasma beat off rival TVs from Panasonic, Sony, Samsung, and LG, who came in second to fifth place respectively.
The Pioneer PDP4270XD has received a lot of popular comments from users. Heidi Johnson-Cash, General Manager for Marketing at Pioneer GB Limited. said, "Pioneer is delighted that the KURO has been chosen as the favourite television brand of 2007 by Reevoo users. Pioneer's aim is simply to make the best televisions on the market and we are delighted to have achieved this objective, receiving acclaim from the press, industry experts and most importantly our customers."
Obviously, Pioneer must take a global view, but it's interesting that this positive feedback has been released just days after Pioneer announced a cessation of manufacturing 42-inch plasma screens. It could be a good opportunity for the company to push their larger plasmas, though.
At the bottom of the pile in the Reevoo survey came Swisstec, UMC, Polaroid, Logik, and Goodmans. The 15" Swisstec S15 6NG, which retails for around £150, is consistently described as having 'tinny' sound and problems with sound and vision not synchronising, although many reviewers are pleased with what it offers for the price.
